This topic is often covered within the 1-day seminar “Inside the Mind of the Predator” but can be presented as a 1-2 hour workshop. It brings an understanding of the value of pre-offense and post-offense thought, emotion, and behaviour in the investigation of these crimes. Discussion of the phenomenon of Displaced Homicides; particularly Displaced Matricide allows both investigators and treatment practitioners a look inside potential motives.
